IT’S BREAK!

Fall quarter is finally over and I. AM. SO. HAPPY (!!!). The past few months have been grueling, so I’m excited to have a mini break! All I did on the first day of break was cleanย my apartment and it made me so incredibly happy. Ah, the little things. So what’s been happening the past few weeks? A little of this…

Fueling up for...more fuel, of course!

…and some of this…

…and a whole lot of this.

A break from the grind is more than welcome! Some fun things have been happening lately, such as my lab group’s annual pumpkin party. Everyone’s pumpkin game is still going strong.

We also had my lab group’s annual holiday party and I make sugar cookies every year because I am a good nutrition student.

I make these every year...yum!

I managed to sneak in Mean Girls into my final presentation for a class, which totally made my life.

Grad school rocks

Proper celebrations were in order, of course…

The best way to end the quarter.

Now it’s time to sit back and enjoy a few days of freedom before getting back to work. You know you’re a grad student when after a couple days of rest you start feeling antsy and want to go back to school and do research. Time to force myself to take a much needed breather, so I can return fresh and motivated. Goodbye fall!
